Normally associated for his super STAR WARS art work, the ever talented Matt Busch also did this brilliant 2000 Galactica classic series piece of the Pegasus's top Colonial Warrior, Bojay (played by Jack Stauffer), who was introduced to the series in the two-parter The Living Legend.

Terrific work, Matt. The art is available to purchase here: Comic Art For Sale from RomitaMan Original Art, Battlestar Galactica Gallery Special Pinup (2000). by Comic Artist(s) Matt Busch

He may be best known for his stunning pre and post production work on the Classic STAR WARS Trilogy, but late artist Ralph McQuarrie's incredible and iconic skills were also brought to fruitful bear in the realisation of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA to weekly TV in 1977/78.

Now, McQuarrie's friends and artistic partners at DREAMS & VISIONS PRESS have secured a new deal with UNIVERSAL to release his tremendous art for Glen Larson's series in a special portfolio being released next year, in worthy time for the series landmark 35th Anniversary. CLASSIC IMAGE: THE TWO APOLLO'S!

You've got to hand it to modern Galactica developer Ronald D. Moore for having the bright spark of involving original series veteran Richard Hatch in the new series re-imagining: it was a fine crowd-pleasing comeback for original fans and a nice nod to the past, as well as Hatch's previous sterling, if so far sadly unsuccessful, efforts to get a continuation of the original interpretation of the show off the ground. He may not be playing Apollo anymore, that part now inhabited by Jamie Bamber (who'd gave it a different, less heroic, and more fallible edge), but Hatch delivered a consistently excellent performance nonetheless in the guise of new anti-hero character, Tom Zarek.
